Halse & District Garden Club

The Garden Club organises an annual programme of talks, events, and visits for everyone living in Halse and the surrounding district. The club aims to be open and inclusive regardless of whether you are a curious novice or a committed gardener. It also aims to be a pleasant way to socialise and get to know neighbours. Talks in recent years have covered aspects of growing vegetables, plants, and flowers, farming around Halse, and setting up specialist gardens. Visits have included to local vineyards and cider orchards, local gardens, and national gardens and other attractions. The club also runs an annual plant sale, flower show, summer garden party, and New Year AGM party. There is a nominal annual subscription for membership, or it is possible to pay a small charge on the night if you want to see what we do by attending one of our talks. There may also be a small charge made by venues for members and non-members attending visits and other events.
